This established commercial builder has a strong record of delivering quality projects across Melbourne. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, the business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a recent office development in Berwick.

The Project
You will oversee the construction of an $8 million, three-level commercial office building incorporating a concrete structure, building services and high-quality internal finishes.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for all day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standard.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the project from site establishment through to completion
- Coordinating the concrete structure and subsequent trade packages
- Developing and maintaining short-term construction programs
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
- Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics
- Reviewing drawings and resolving construction issues
- Conducting quality inspections and managing defects




- Leading site safety, inductions and toolbox meetings
- Reporting regularly on progress, risks and upcoming activities

About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a commercial builder
- Experience delivering multi-level commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of concrete structures and construction sequencing
- The ability to manage projects from structure through to fit-out and handover
- Strong subcontractor coordination and programming skills
- Excellent knowledge of Victorian building and safety requirements
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
