An excellent opportunity has become available for a mid-level Structural Engineer to join one of Australia's largest and most highly regarded engineering consultancies.

Based from their North Sydney office, you will join an established structural engineering team with an outstanding reputation for delivering large, complex and landmark building projects across Sydney, Australia and internationally.
Projects span major commercial developments, government and public buildings, healthcare, mixed-use developments and other significant building structures, providing excellent variety and exposure throughout your career.

The Opportunity

This role would suit a Structural Engineer with approximately 4-8 years' experience who is looking to take the next step within a larger consultancy environment.

You will be involved across the project lifecycle, including:

- Structural analysis, design and calculations
- Design and documentation of large building structures
- Coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines
- Client, contractor and stakeholder liaison
- Site inspections and construction-phase engineering
- Resolving technical and design issues during delivery
- Working alongside highly experienced senior engineers and project leaders

There are currently several major projects progressing into the construction/site phase, so candidates who enjoy seeing their designs move from documentation through to delivery will gain particularly valuable experience.

About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:

- A recognised Civil / Structural Engineering degree
- Approximately 4-8 years' structural engineering experience
- Previous experience within the Australian consulting engineering market
- Experience designing larger and/or multi-storey building structures
- Good technical design and analysis capability
- Some construction-phase/site experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- A collaborative attitude and desire to continue developing technically
- Full Australian working rights
