DSY has been exclusively engaged to appoint a Senior Controller - Inventory & Operations for a successful ASX listed manufacturer as it prepares for its launch in the US.

The Senior Controller – Inventory & Operations is responsible for improving inventory accuracy, control and operational finance performance across Australia and the USA. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role is the senior Finance partner to the GM USA, Chief Commercial Officer and operational teams, ensuring inventory, COGS, margin and working capital information is reliable and supports better commercial decisions. The role will also establish scalable controls and processes as the US business expands.

You will need to be hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable moving between detailed inventory investigation and senior stakeholder discussions. Expected to identify why variances occur, establish clear ownership for resolution and strengthen the underlying process so issues do not recur.

Work from home (Perth Metro) Monday-Friday with 25% of your work week aligning to US timezones. Occasional catchups with the CFO (Perth Metro).

Key Requirements

- Senior operational finance, controller or commercial finance experience in an inventory-intensive business
- Strong understanding of inventory valuation, COGS, gross margin and working capital
- Proven finance business partnering with Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain
- Team management, coaching and development
- Strong ERP, Excel and data-analysis capability; process improvement mindset
- Multi-entity / US experience desirable
- Relevant tertiary and CA/CPA qualification required
- Australian Citizen / Permanant Resident is a must
