About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 4-week locum opportunity commencing 7th September, with a leading private rehabilitation hospital based in Dee Why.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions across inpatient and day rehabilitation caseloads, develop tailored rehabilitation plans, support functional independence, and contribute to safe discharge planning.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about patient-centred care and enjoys working in a collaborative rehabilitation environment.

Key responsibilities include

- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services across inpatient and day rehabilitation settings.
- Assess, treat, and manage a diverse clinical caseload.
- Develop individualised rehabilitation plans to support patient goals and functional outcomes.
- Prescribe equipment and recommend home modifications where appropriate.
- Support functional independence and protected discharge planning.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

About you





- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience.
- Current general AHPRA registration (essential).
- Australian working rights (essential).
- Australian driver’s licence.
- National Police Clearance.
- Previous rehabilitation or hospital experience is highly regarded.
