What you'll be doing:
- Reporting to the Senior People & Capability Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
- Preparing employment contracts, variations, onboarding and offboarding documentation
- Maintaining accurate employee records across HRIS and personnel files
- Coordinating onboarding to ensure a smooth and compliant start for new employees
- Managing compliance requirements including police checks, training records and working rights
- Providing administrative support across P&C;, including reporting and workforce data
- Responding to employee queries and managing the P&C; inbox
- Supporting performance management processes, grievances and investigations
- Assisting with policy updates, audits, and compliance reporting
- Contributing to employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and internal programs
- Providing first-level advice on employee relations matters including awards and Fair Work obligations
- Supporting learning and development initiatives and mandatory training compliance
What you'll need:
- 2–3 years' experience in an HR or People & Capability role
- Exposure to employee relations, including performance and investigation support
- Solid understanding of Fair Work and employment legislation (or willingness to build on this)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Business or similar
- Experience within aged care, health or community services will be highly regarded
