Introduction

ConsultANZ is seeking 2x Asphalt Plant Operators to join a leading civil infrastructure company operating asphalt manufacturing plants in Auckland, New Zealand.

In this role, you will operate and monitor asphalt production plants to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality asphalt production while supporting daily plant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor asphalt production plants.
- Produce asphalt to quality and production targets.
- Manage production records, materials, and plant systems.
- Carry out routine plant inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Work with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Desired Experience & Qualification

- Certificate, Trade Qualification, or relevant qualification is preferred.




- Minimum 7 years' experience operating asphalt production or asphalt batch plants.
- Good computer skills and experience with plant management systems.
- Knowledge of production, inventory, and materials.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
