The Role

Join Cockburn Cement as an Account Manager and play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across the WA cement market. Reporting to the Manager – Sales West, this role will see you manage key customer accounts, support commercial negotiations and work closely with operational teams to ensure safe, reliable and profitable delivery outcomes. You will act as the key link between customers and internal stakeholders, helping deliver exceptional service while supporting sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

- Manage and grow key accounts across cement and construction materials sectors
- Identify, pursue and secure current business opportunities across WA
- Build lasting customer relationships through regular engagement and site visits
- Prepare tenders, proposals and tailored customer solutions
- Partner with operations to ensure reliable, on-time product supply
- Track market trends, competitor activity and pricing movements
- Contribute to pricing strategy, forecasting and sales pipeline planning
- Provide technical and commercial advice on cement products
- Champion safety, compliance, Chain of Responsibility and sustainability in everything you do

About You You're a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering practical solutions. To be successful, you'll bring:





- Proven experience in account management, sales or business development
- Background in cement, concrete, construction materials, industrial or mining sectors
- Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management ability
- Comfortable working autonomously and juggling competing priorities
- Intermediate MS Office and CRM skills
- Current WA driver's licence
