You will work with a diverse range of individual and business clients preparing income tax returns, financial statements, and associated workpapers. You will prepare and lodge BAS and IAS, perform bank and account reconciliations, assist with tax planning and general taxation matters, liaise with clients and the ATO, work with accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, assist senior accountants with more complex client matters, and perform general accounting and taxation duties.

- Preparation of individual, company, trust and partnership income tax returns

About you
- At least 2 years of Australian public practice accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field
- Experience preparing Australian income tax returns and financial statements
- Good understanding of Australian taxation and GST
- Experience using Xero and other accounting software
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
