Searson Buck are proud to partner with a successful and expanding Tasmanian organisation seeking an Accountant to support the Finance Manager across a diverse portfolio of entities.

With continued growth, the business is seeking someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders to drive sound commercial outcomes.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Month-end reporting, journals and reconciliations
- Management reporting and variance analysis
- GST and statutory compliance
- Year-end financial statements and audit preparation

Cashflow & Business Performance

- Cashflow monitoring and forecasting
- Budget preparation and forecasting support
- Debtor and creditor management




- Financial analysis and performance reporting

Stakeholder Support & Improvement

- Partnering with operational stakeholders
- Supporting multiple business entities
- Identifying efficiencies and process improvements
- Contributing to ongoing systems and reporting enhancements

About You

- CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) with experience in a commercial accounting environment.
- Strong stakeholder skills and a genuine interest in how businesses operate and grow.
- Able to use financial insights to support better business decisions and outcomes.
