About the Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive Office Administration Manager to oversee the administration function for our General Freight division. This full-time, onsite role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence and providing crucial support to the leadership team. This position is available in either our Acacia Ridge (QLD) office — please indicate your preferred location when applying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all administrative tasks for the General Freight division, including the accurate and timely entry, pricing, and weekly/monthly invoicing of all transport and warehousing consignments.
- Manage and maintain auditable records for Chep and Loscam pallet accounts.
- Support the Operations and Logistics Manager with the allocation and coordination of consignments to drivers.
- Provide skilled, proactive, and clear communication to our customers.
- Ensure all required information and reports are delivered to the Corporate Services Manager in line with business deadlines.
- Work closely with the General Freight General Manager on various tasks, including business compliance.
Requirements:
Essential Skills/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an Administration Manager for 2+ years or equivalent, ideally within the transport or logistics industry.
- Higher-level verbal and written communication skills. Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Xero accounting software.
- A proven ability to work effectively with others and build strong working relationships.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications
- Previous experience using Transvirtual or a similar Transport Management System (TMS).
- In-depth knowledge of transport industry terms and culture.
- Recent graduate from a Business degree or similar highly regarded.
