About The Role We have an exciting prospect for an experienced Health &
- Safety Advisor to join us as part of at our Vickery Open Cut mine. Reporting to the Superintendent – Health, Safety &
- Training, you will support the Vickery Open Cut mine with promoting a positive health & safety culture by providing support, advice, coaching, and assisting in developing and coordinating the implementation of Whitehaven Coals Health &
- Safety strategies. What You’ll Do Assist in the development and implementation of internal health and safety strategies,
plans and policies Facilitate and/or participate in incident investigations, risk assessments and management of change processes Monitor the sites emergency preparedness and response equipment and capabilities Support and participate in site WHS Committee meetings, pre-start and toolbox meetings Monitor compliance and provide on-going support to Operations, Contractors and Corporate Teams. What You’ll Bring Knowledge of NSW WH&S; Legislation and statutory requirements
Experience with Onsite &
- SharePoint or similar systems Genuine passion to live by the Whitehaven STRIVE Values and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture.
