About our client

Our client supplies engines, lighting, equipment, parts and service solutions to customers across Australia and supports customers throughout the equipment lifecycle. This newly created role forms part of the next stage of the aftersales operation. It has been established to increase contact with existing customers, reconnect lapsed accounts and identify additional opportunities from previous sales activity.

You will work with the National Aftersales Manager, Customer Service Team and sales representatives while developing knowledge across engines, equipment, parts and service. Employees who demonstrate results can build experience towards future opportunities in field sales, dealer management or other commercial roles.

About the opportunity

This is a full-time, office-based Aftersales Support role combining outbound customer engagement, lead qualification, quotation follow-up, pipeline development and sales administration. You will work with warm prospects, existing customers, lapsed accounts and selected new prospects while providing administrative support to salespeople working in the field.

In this role, you will:

- Establish a customer contact programme and build a qualified pipeline
- Reactivate dormant accounts and identify additional spend opportunities
- Follow up quotations and warm prospects to support sales conversion
- Increase coverage across prospective, existing and underperforming accounts
- Support field sales with quotations, tenders, CRM updates and sales administration
- Maintain customer records, documentation, follow-up dates and opportunity information

You will also gather information on competitors,



pricing and customer requirements, support inbound enquiries during peak periods and contribute to improvements in outbound sales processes and scripts.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience in outbound customer contact and administration who can manage follow-up activity, maintain sales records and develop opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Background in outbound sales, telesales, internal sales, customer service or business development
- Confidence making proactive outbound and cold calls
- Proven ability to generate, qualify and follow up sales leads
- Strong relationship-building skills across existing, dormant and prospective customers
- Ability to work effectively alongside sales representatives, BDMs and commercial teams
- Familiarity with quotations, tenders or sales administration
- Demonstrated success re-engaging lapsed or underperforming customer accounts
- Robust CRM administration skills with disciplined and timely customer follow-up
