Registered Surveyor - North Shore
Senior Surveying Prospect | Land Development | Leadership & Project Ownership

- North Sydney preferred, with the option of Parramatta
- Senior position for an experienced BOSSI Registered Surveyor
- Strong pipeline of land development projects across NSW
- Lead projects, teams and client relationships
- Established multidisciplinary engineering and surveying consultancy
- Competitive senior-level remuneration package

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy with a strong presence across Sydney and a busy pipeline of land development work.

Ideally based from North Sydney, the business is also open to experienced candidates who would prefer to work from their Parramatta office.
This is a senior position offering plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of surveying projects from initial planning and fieldwork through to final cadastral outcomes.

You'll work across a broad range of land development projects, combining your technical cadastral expertise with project management, team leadership and client interaction.

The Role
Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:

- Managing and delivering cadastral and land surveying projects across NSW
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to surveying teams
- Managing project programmes, resources and deliverables
- Reviewing survey documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant NSW legislation and standards
- Undertaking and overseeing field surveying activities as required
- Working closely with engineers, planners, developers and other project stakeholders

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Mentoring and supporting the development of junior surveyors and surveying staff

About You
We're looking for an experienced survey professional who can bring both strong technical knowledge and leadership capability.
Ideally, you will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Around 10-15 years' experience within surveying and the land development industry
- Current registration as a Surveyor with the Board of Surveying and Spatial Information (BOSSI) NSW
- Extensive experience across cadastral land surveying in NSW
- Strong knowledge of NSW legislation and requirements governing cadastral and land surveying
- Demonstrated experience leading surveying teams and managing projects
- Solid fieldwork experience and a practical understanding of project delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The confidence to operate autonomously while working as part of a broader multidisciplinary team

Why Consider This Opportunity?
This would suit an established Registered Surveyor looking for a role where their experience will be genuinely valued and where they can have influence across projects, people and delivery.

You'll join an established business with the support of broader engineering and development teams, while retaining the autonomy expected at this level.
North Sydney is the preferred location, although candidates seeking to be based in Parramatta are also encouraged to apply.

Get in touch for a confidential discussion regarding the consultancy, project pipeline, remuneration and longer-term opportunities.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Full work rights essential
