The Opportunity
Our client is a leading ASX listed organisation seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join its high-performing Brisbane legal team.
Working closely with senior executives, Treasury and Company Secretariat, this role offers exposure to a broad range of complex corporate matters while providing the opportunity to become a trusted adviser across the business.
Unlike many corporate roles, this position is not transaction-driven. Instead, it offers genuine variety across governance, treasury, capital management, annual reporting, continuous disclosure, strategic projects and selected corporate transactions.
About the Role
You will advise across a broad corporate portfolio including:
- Corporate governance and listed company matters.
- Treasury and capital management initiatives.
- Annual reporting, continuous disclosure and Board-related work.
- Strategic corporate projects and commercial initiatives.
- Selected M&A; and other corporate transactions.
- Working closely with senior executives and key internal stakeholders across the business.
About You
You are likely to have approximately 8+ years' PAE gained in a leading private practice firm and/or an in-house legal team.
You will also bring:
- Robust demonstrated corporate legal experience.
- Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The confidence to advise senior executives and work with Board-level stakeholders.
- Sound commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Experience advising listed companies or working within an ASX-listed environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.
