We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team and support Australian recruitment agencies specialising in blue-collar and skilled workforce recruitment.

This role is ideal for recruiters who have worked in a recruitment agency environment, managing permanent and/or high-volume recruitment processes and sourcing skilled talent across construction, trades, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, resources, transport, and other blue-collar industries.

You will partner with Australian recruitment teams to identify, engage, and deliver high-quality candidates while managing talent pipelines and supporting successful placements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for blue-collar and skilled roles
- Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, social media, and networking channels
- Conduct candidate screening, qualification calls, and skills assessments
- Build and maintain strong talent pools for specialised, skilled, and hard-to-fill positions
- Partner with Australian recruiters to understand job requirements and candidate profiles
- Manage candidate pipelines and provide regular recruitment updates
- Coordinate interviews, reference checks, pre-employment requirements, and offers
- Maintain accurate candidate records using ATS and recruitment databases
- Conduct market mapping and talent research to identify suitable candidates
- Provide insights on candidate availability, salary/rate expectations, and market conditions
- Support multiple vacancies and recruitment campaigns in a fast-paced agency environment

Requirements

✅ 1+ years of recruitment agency experience
✅ Proven experience recruiting blue-collar, skilled trades, or specialised roles
✅ Experience recruiting roles across industries such as construction, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, transport, resources, trades, or facilities




✅ Experience working in an agency recruitment desk environment
✅ Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
✅ Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, and other recruitment tools
✅ Experience handling high-volume, niche, or hard-to-fill roles
✅ Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with candidates professionally
✅ Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced workplace

Highly Desirable Experience

- Australian recruitment agency experience
- Experience recruiting blue-collar and skilled trades
- Experience supporting Australian clients and recruitment processes
- Experience recruiting for construction, mining/resources, manufacturing, logistics, transport, or warehousing
- Familiarity with permanent, temporary, contract, or high-volume recruitment models
- Experience working with Australian job boards such as SEEK and Indeed
- Understanding of Australian compliance and pre-employment requirements
