- $83,500 – $109,900 per annum + superannuation + applicable shift allowances

Salary range is based on current RN hourly rates and a 38-hour working week. Actual remuneration will depend on experience and applicable penalties/allowances.

The Location
You will be living in Hobart, Tasmania's beautiful capital city, located on the south-eastern coast of the state.

Your Main Duties
As a Theatre Registered Nurse, you will work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of patient care throughout the surgical journey.
Depending on your area of expertise, your duties may include:

- Working as a Scrub/Scout or PACU/Recovery Nurse




- Providing high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative journey
- Preparing patients and equipment for surgical procedures
- Maintaining strict aseptic technique and a protected sterile field
- Working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and the wider theatre team
- Monitoring and caring for patients throughout the perioperative period
- Advocating for patient safety, comfort and wellbeing
- Providing safe handover and post-operative care

To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Scrub/Scout OR PACU/Recovery
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain

A relevant perioperative qualification or postgraduate experience will be highly regarded.
