- Train SEL field technical support staff (internal and external) on R&D; products and technologies.
- Maintain an understanding of industry technology and SEL products.
- Author service bulletins, application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets.
- Perform competitive analysis.
- Develop project use cases.
- Establish and perform validation testing.
- Create product demonstrations.
- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and commercial bids.
- Contribute to existing and new product specifications.
- Perform special studies and tests as needed by customers.
- Participate in SEL sales and marketing activities and industry technical meetings and conferences.

Required Qualifications
B.S.
in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
2+ years working knowledge of electric power systems, communication, and/or automation practices and philosophies
Excellent technical training, speaking, documentation, and writing skills
Willingness to travel 25%
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume recent responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
