AKJ Services is a locally owned Darwin construction company delivering a wide range of commercial, residential and civil projects across the Northern Territory. We are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the trade while working alongside experienced carpenters on a variety of local projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified carpenters with construction and installation works.
- Learn and develop carpentry skills on commercial and residential projects.
- Use and maintain hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with measuring, cutting and assembling building materials.
- Maintain a clean and protected worksite.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
Skills and Experience Genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry.
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work safely and follow directions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic tool knowledge desirable but not essential.
