As the Assistant Facility Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our facility’s clinical operations, working closely with the Facility Manager to ensure the highest standards of care for our residents. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, team engagement, and regulatory compliance, all while fostering a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Daily Clinical Operations: Ensure ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant regulations, while supporting the smooth delivery of daily operations through the review of clinical incidents, effective resolution of complaints, and continuous monitoring of clinical indicators.
- Team Leadership: Support and manage a dedicated team of nurses and clinical staff, providing training, guidance, and performance management / Support and guide the clinical team
- Care Planning: Collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised clinical care plans.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor clinical care delivery, conduct clinical audits, and lead continuous improvement plan to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and address gaps in care promptly,
ensuring a positive impact on residents and the facility.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay ahead of industry changes and ensure all practices align with current standards.
About You To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- AHPRA Registration: As a Registered Nurse with at least 2–3 years of experience as a Care Manager, you're ready to take the next step in your career.
- Leadership Experience: A proven track record of leading and inspiring teams in a clinical setting.
- Aged Care Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and calm approach to managing challenges and stressful situations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Positive Energy: A good sense of humour and a fun, engaging attitude to foster a safe and enjoyable workplace.
