Approach Consulting are seeking a high-performing Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join the growing Sydney practice of a leading national, mid-tier law firm. Candidates located in Canberra will also be considered.

This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners on complex, high-value commercial matters for major Australian Government agencies, government-owned corporations, Indigenous corporations and sophisticated private sector clients.

The practice is continuing to grow, offering lawyers the opportunity to work on significant projects while developing their technical expertise, commercial acumen and client relationships.

The Role

You will have exposure to a diverse and sophisticated range of work, including:

- Significant Australian Government projects and commercial transactions.
- Commonwealth procurement and commercial contracting.
- Technology and intellectual property matters.
- Corporate advisory, including governance, structuring and transactions.
- Regulatory and compliance advice.
- General commercial advisory work across complex and commercially significant matters.





You'll be gaining exposure to matters that are both technically challenging and commercially important with support and guidance of leading senior practictioners.

About You

We are seeking a4+ PQE Corporate & Commercial Lawyer ideally with experience in a major or well-regarded corporate or commercial practice.

You will ideally bring

- Strong corporate and commercial legal experience with excellent contract drafting and commercial advisory skills.
- An interest in Australian Government and/or complex commercial transactions.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with government procurement, technology, intellectual property, corporate advisory or regulatory matters will be highly regarded.
