We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our mining operations on a FIFO basis.
This role will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, fault finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance across a range of heavy earthmoving, mining and ancillary equipment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Electrical repairs and maintenance across mining and earthmoving equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and issues
- Low-voltage electrical repairs and fault finding
- Electrical maintenance on mobile plant, ancillary equipment and support vehicles
- Installation, testing and repair of electrical components and systems
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Relevant Auto Electrical trade qualification
- Previous experience working on mining, earthmoving or heavy mobile equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with low-voltage electrical systems
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a maintenance team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Mining/FIFO experience highly regarded
