Join a highly respected Australia–China alumni and people-to-people organisation.
The Australia China Alumni
Association (ACAA) is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Board as a Non-Executive Director and take on the additional role of Treasurer. This is a strategic governance role for a financially capable professional who can provide strong oversight of ACAA’s financial management, reporting, compliance and financial risk. ACAA has an internal finance and accounting team, so the Treasurer will provide governance oversight and accountability rather than undertake day-to-day accounting.
About ACAA
Established in 2007, the Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA) is a non-profit charitable organisation connecting alumni and students of Australian universities across Australia and Greater China. ACAA currently connects with a network of more than 40,000 Australian alumni across Australia and Greater China and aims to foster lifelong connections, educational engagement and people-to-people relationships between Australia and China.
ACAA has had the privilege of having Australian Ambassadors to China serve as its patrons since its establishment; the current patron is His Excellency Scott Dewar, Australian Ambassador to the People's Republic of China.
ACAA’s flagship Australia China Alumni Awards commenced in 2009 and the 2026 program is the 18th Australia China Alumni Awards. The Awards recognise outstanding achievements of Australian-educated alumni and bring together alumni, universities, government, business and community stakeholders. ACAA also delivers scholarship and community programs, mentoring, career development and educational initiatives, and has worked with Australian Government representatives and Australian diplomatic and trade networks in China.
