You will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, and safely moving stock throughout the facility.
Location: Wacol
Hourly Rate: Day Shift: $36.85/hr
Shifts/Hours: Day shift: 5am start
Key Responsibilities:
- Working around steel processing and manufacturing equipment
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts
- Move and stage materials for production
- Conduct quality checks and ensure product specifications are met
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse and production duties as required
Requirements
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Experience within the steel industry will be highly regarded
