About the role
You will run your own family law files end to end, with senior support close at hand rather than at arm's length.
Manage a caseload spanning parenting matters, property settlements and consent orders
Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia as required
Liaise directly with clients,
opposing counsel and other professionals
Draw on the guidance of senior family lawyers and partners when files get complex
Contribute to a small, close-knit team without the scale, or the politics, of a big city practice
What you'll bring
4+ years PAE in family law, with around 7 PAE ideal
Current unrestricted practising certificate in Victoria
Confidence running your own files with senior support available
Strong client-facing manner and clear written and verbal communication
Based in or willing to relocate to the Geelong region
