Most ad tech sells dashboards. We sell people their Monday mornings back.
Pace is the ad management platform for performance agencies. It watches every budget across Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit and Amazon Ads, paces them automatically, and writes the client report before anyone asks for it. Seven platforms, one tab.
We're young and moving quick: 45 agencies and brands worldwide already trust Pace with over $6M/month in ad spend, and almost all of that growth came inbound. We haven't had a single person whose job is to go out and tell agencies we exist.
That's this job. You'd be one of our first hires, and the first commercial one.
What you'll actually do
- Own the pipeline end to end: find performance agencies drowning in tabs, start honest conversations, run the demo, close, and hand a happy customer to onboarding.
- Work the founder's calendar out of existence. Right now every deal goes through Jordan. Your job is to make that stop scaling with him.
- Talk to agency owners as a peer. Our buyers run 20–200 ad accounts and can smell a script in one sentence. You'll win by knowing their world: pacing, margins, client churn, reporting Fridays.
- Feed what you hear back into the product. At this size, sales is also research. What you learn on calls shapes the roadmap that ships next month.
- Build the playbook,
not follow one. Sequences, demo narrative, pricing conversations, CRM hygiene — you set them up the way you'd want to inherit them.
Who does well here
- You've sold SaaS or media/adtech to agencies or marketing teams, and you have the closed deals to talk about — specifics, not vibes.
- You can run a technical-enough demo solo and answer "how does the pacing actually work?" without a lifeline.
- You write well. Half of BD is words in inboxes.
- You want the early-stage trade: more ownership and upside, fewer guardrails and playbooks.
- Bonus: you've worked at a performance agency and lived the seven-tab Monday yourself.
What you get
- A product buyers already love — you're not pushing a rock uphill, you're telling agencies something exists that they've been asking for.
- Real ownership of the commercial function from day one, with the numbers to prove whether it's working.
- Direct line to the founder. No layers, no politics, decisions in hours not quarters.
How to apply
No cover letter. Email
[email protected] with three sentences: the deal you're proudest of, why agencies, and a link to your LinkedIn. Subject line: "One tab".
