Nurse Next Door Sunshine Coast are looking for great people with solid experience in the community to join our growing team of Caregivers and Nurses.
{For the right candidate, there is scope for this role to develop into a the position of Lead Caregiver 35-40hrs per week with the use of a company vehicle.
This role requires experience, a great attitude and full and flexible availability to attend regular client visits as well as additional visits at short notice}
We provide around-the-clock care in the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Gympie and Maryborough areas and are always looking for good people to join the team in those areas also.
Visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or non-active sleepovers to meet our client's needs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care (toileting, showering, etc) meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
- Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

- Previous caregiving experience is required.
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers/Managers when needed
- Own vehicle.
- Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
- National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
- Working With Children Check NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
- NDIS Worker Screener Clearance
- Current First Aid + CPR
- Candidate must have permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions
