CarSauce is one of Australia’s largest and fastest-growing automotive media brands, with over 220,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 40 million views a year across our channels, and we’re continuing to grow.

We’re hiring a full-time CarSauce Sell Advisor to join our team at our Brighton East office and help customers sell or trade in their cars through CarSauce Sell.

This is a fast-paced, phone-based sales role working with warm inbound leads, people who have already come to CarSauce wanting to sell or trade in their vehicle.

You’ll speak with customers, understand their car and circumstances, collect the information and images we need, obtain offers from our wholesale network and guide them through to an accepted offer and completed sale.

You’ll also work closely with the wider CarSauce sales team, handling trade-in opportunities generated through customers buying their next car with us.

We want CarSauce Sell to be simple, transparent and genuinely helpful. This isn’t about old-school dealership pressure or cold calling. It’s about great communication, strong follow-up and helping customers get a fair outcome for their car.

What you'll be doing

- Respond quickly to warm CarSauce Sell and trade-in enquiries by phone, SMS and email
- Speak with customers to understand their vehicle, selling timeframe and expectations
- Qualify vehicles and collect required details, photos and supporting information
- Submit vehicles to our wholesale network and manage incoming offers
- Present offers clearly and confidently to customers




- Follow up customers consistently and help convert suitable offers into completed sales
- Manage accepted deals through settlement and vehicle handover
- Handle vehicle trade-in leads generated through the wider CarSauce sales team
- Keep customer, vehicle and deal information accurate and up to date in our CRM
- Work towards clear conversion, response time, follow-up and customer satisfaction targets
- Provide feedback on customer trends, lead quality and opportunities to improve the CarSauce Sell experience

What we're looking for

- Relevant dealership experience is required, ideally across used-car sales, trade-ins, vehicle appraisals or acquisitions
- A strong understanding of the Australian used-car market
- Confidence discussing vehicle condition, value and market positioning with customers
- Knowledge of common makes, models and the factors that influence used-car, trade-in and wholesale values
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone
- The ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Good sales and objection-handling skills without relying on high-pressure tactics
- Strong organisation and follow-up discipline
- Comfortable managing a high volume of leads at different stages of the sales process
- Commercially minded,



motivated and comfortable working towards targets and KPIs
- Confident using CRM systems and digital communication tools
- Reliable, accountable and able to work effectively within a wider sales team
- Able to work full-time from our Brighton East office

Bonus points if you have

- Experience in vehicle buying or wholesaling
- Experience handling vehicle trade-ins or appraisals
- Experience managing warm inbound leads
- Experience in a high-volume phone-based sales environment
