Spoon Patisserie is seeking reliable and hardworking Casual Delivery Drivers and Warehouse Order Pickers to join our dynamic team. This is a casual position based in Eagle Farm, QLD 4009, offering versatile work opportunities for individuals who are looking for part-time or on-demand employment. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products reach customers efficiently and that warehouse operations run smoothly.
Whether you're delivering our delicious patisserie items or picking and preparing orders in our warehouse, you'll play a vital part in maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
As a Casual Delivery Driver or Warehouse Order Picker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting, sorting and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading delivery vehicles with products, ensuring items are secured and organised for transport
- Delivering products to customers in a timely manner whilst maintaining professional customer service standards
- Maintaining accurate records of orders picked, packed and delivered
- Conducting vehicle safety checks and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Following all health, safety and food handling procedures to maintain product quality and integrity
- Assisting with general warehouse housekeeping and stock management tasks
- Communicating effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
What we're looking for To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- A valid Australian driving licence (essential for delivery driver role)
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, order picking or delivery driving (preferred)
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Physical fitness and capability to lift,
carry and move items regularly
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and reliability
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one (advantageous)
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures, particularly regarding food handling
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality standards
