About the Team The Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO) provides support and advice to AEC staff to help prepare for, adopt and sustain organisational change and transformation, and strives to be the AEC's change management centre of excellence.

The ECMO supports the AEC to achieve its full potential by realising organisational benefits through a strong focus on the people side of change. This is achieved by providing the frameworks, guidance and support needed to build sustainable change management capability and maturity across the agency. The ECMO contributes to a positive workplace culture that supports increased productivity, successful project delivery, effective change adoption and benefits realisation.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the AEC and contribute to work that has a direct impact on Australia's democratic processes.

We are seeking a Change Management Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative, operational and project support to the Enterprise Change Management Office, working closely with change and communications specialists.





The position is also responsible for providing project and operational support across the team as required. This includes delivering day-to-day operational activities aligned with team priorities, undertaking work within established frameworks and escalating risks and issues appropriately.

This is not a technical role. Instead, it focuses on supporting the implementation of change initiatives and the delivery of team outcomes.

To excel you’ll have:

- We are seeking a motivated and capable professional who can demonstrate the skills, knowledge and experience required to perform successfully in this role.
- Demonstrated organisational and communication skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate workflow and deliver work accurately and on time.
- Demonstrated sound judgement, discretion and integrity when handling confidential or sensitive matters,



while achieving outcomes within legislative and policy frameworks.
- Experience preparing high-quality written communications and the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across a range of levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contribute to a positive workplace culture and support shared objectives, while exercising initiative and working autonomously when required.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive and adaptable approach, including a commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to seek, receive and apply feedback.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

Desirable

- Experience working in, or supporting, Agile project environments, including an understanding of Agile delivery approaches and/or supporting change management communications within an Agile environment.
- Basic understanding of change management principles and practices, or the willingness and capability to develop knowledge in this area.
