About the role
UniCivil is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee a variety of civil construction projects across New South Wales, including government-delivered and privately delivered civil works. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest quality standard.

Key responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site operations across multiple civil projects.
Lead and mentor site crews, subcontractors and plant operators.
Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, project specifications and quality standards
Coordinate labour, plant, materials and daily programming
Liaise with project managers, clients, inspectors and stakeholders
Complete site documentation, pre-starts, safety inspections and daily reports
Promote a positive team culture and maintain high productivity on site
Essential requirements
Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor, or in a leading-hand role, within civil infrastructure or earthworks — minimum 5 years
Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement plans, drawings and specifications on site
Proven leadership of site crews, subcontractors and plant operators.
Working knowledge of WHS legislation, ITPs and quality requirements, and the ability to enforce them
Robust communication and people management skills, with the ability to liaise directly with clients and inspectors.
Highly alert, attentive and proactive, with excellent problem-solving ability,
Sound understanding of civil construction methods, programming and daily site documentation
