Role Description ONI is seeking a Cloud, Data and Product Support Specialist to provide technical expertise and operational support across the Agency's cloud, data and product environments. Sitting within ONI's Data Branch as part of the Product Operations Team, you will support the delivery and ongoing operation of cloud-based data products and services within an agile, multidisciplinary environment.
Key duties include:
- Providing first-level support to internal and external users, including triage, prioritisation and resolution of support requests
- Delivering operational support — monitoring service performance, investigating and resolving incidents
- Supporting implementation and maintenance of cloud security controls, policies and governance requirements
- Developing and maintaining operational documentation, SOPs and knowledge articles
- Contributing to continuous improvement of cloud data products and operational processes

- Contract: 12 months 1 x 6-month extension
- Level: EL1 equivalent (SFIA Level 2 – Assist)
- Hours: Up to 37.5 hours/week
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline
- Ceiling Rate: $115.00/hour (excl. GST)
- Closing: Tuesday, 8 September 2026, 11:59 PM (Canberra time)
Qualifications / Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience providing cloud data product support services within a complex enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting cloud-based applications and services, including incident management, troubleshooting and user support
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical teams, business users and external providers
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an agile team environment and manage competing priorities
- AWS Cloud Practitioner training and/or certification, or an equivalent foundational AWS qualification
- Must hold and maintain an active Australian Government security clearance at Baseline level or above
