REPLINE is a growing Sydney-based manufacturing business specialising in high-quality custom machined components using precision multi-axis CNC lathes. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with solid CNC lathe programming and setting skills. This position is suited to someone who understands the complete machining process and can confidently work from an engineering drawing through to machine setup and production of a quality finished component.

Key responsibilities
- Manual programming and setting of CNC lathes
- Setting tools, offsets and machining parameters
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances
- Programming and adjusting CNC machine settings as required
- Selecting appropriate tooling and understanding tooling use, wear and replacement cycles
- Producing first-off components and verifying dimensions before production
- Troubleshooting machining, tooling and quality issues
- Producing quality components while maintaining production efficiency and workplace safety
- Working to production goals and output targets
- Working closely with the Production Manager to maintain schedules and workflow
About you
- Demonstrated hands-on CNC lathe programming and setting experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, tooling, feeds, speeds and tolerances
- Ability to independently set up a CNC lathe for a new component
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confidence using precision measuring equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to quality, productivity and workplace safety
- A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
- Experience with Doosan CNC lathes and Fanuc controls is highly regarded
- Experience with multi-axis CNC turning and complex component manufacture will also be highly regarded
