About the Role

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a key role in the production of precision-engineered components, ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

Perform detailed quality inspections to ensure products meet strict tolerances.

Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.

Optimise machining processes to improve productivity and performance.

Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets.

About You To be successful in this role,



you will possess:

A trade qualification in Engineering (Machining) or equivalent industry experience.

Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes.

Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, or similar control systems will be highly regarded.

Strong knowledge of tooling selection, cutting speeds, feeds, and machining principles.

The ability to confidently interpret and work from detailed technical drawings.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

The ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively within a team environment.
