ConsultANZ is looking for experienced Piling Project Engineers to support several large-scale projects across Queensland. Our client is a renowned leader in Piling and Ground Engineering, delivering technically complex and innovative infrastructure solutions nationwide.

ABOUT YOU

You are a technically competent and results-driven engineer with a solid grounding in piling and foundation systems. You enjoy working on-site, solving challenges in real time, and ensuring construction excellence in line with safety and quality standards.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

- In-depth knowledge of contemporary piling methods and techniques.
- Strong capability in managing technical documentation and site reporting.
- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced site environment.
- Excellent project coordination and time management skills.
- Confidence in leading construction phases and ensuring effective execution.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and site teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements.
- Ensure that all construction works meet the approved specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Supervise temporary works installation, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and revise short-term programs to support overall project timelines.




- Draft method statements and risk assessments to inform on-site activities.
- Record and manage variations and additional works for monthly reporting and claims.
- Maintain a detailed site diary to track progress, issues, and resourcing.
- Ensure all project documents are accurately recorded and securely archived.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 7 years’ post-graduate experience in civil or structural engineering roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in piling, deep foundation systems, or ground engineering.
- Strong command of engineering fundamentals and in office delivery.
- Resilience and adaptability to perform under challenging conditions.
