The Chance We need a senior ServiceNow practitioner who does more than just code against a spec. You will engage directly with clients to understand their true objectives, champion out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities, and confidently push back against technical debt and unnecessary customisation. Most importantly—you still know how to build.
This is a hands-on hybrid of solution design, stakeholder advisory, and heavy-lifting development.
What You'll Drive

- Solution Design & Advisory: Lead technical workshops, translate business problems into scalable solutions, and document robust architectures (HLD/DLD). Guide clients through the OOTB → Configuration → Customisation spectrum.
- PSDS & Case Management: Architect and configure case lifecycles, playbooks, SLAs, and secure workspaces within Public Sector Digital Services.
- Document Management & eSignature: Design end-to-end document workflows, including enterprise signing integrations (DocuSign, Adobe Sign, etc.), storage, versioning, and access controls.
- Now Assist & ServiceNow AI: Implement practical AI capabilities—from prompt design and custom AI skills to human-in-the-loop workflows—while managing data privacy and responsible AI controls.




- Self-Service Experiences: Build intuitive Service Catalogs, portals, and front-end requests that flow seamlessly into downstream business processes.

The Hands-On Tech Stack You aren't a "PowerPoint Architect." You can independently configure, develop, and troubleshoot using:

- JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules, ACLs
- Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, Third-party integrations
- Configurable Workspace, Service Portal, ATF, Data Models

About You

- 6+ years of deep ServiceNow experience acting as a Senior Developer, Technical Consultant, or Solution Designer.
- Equally comfortable leading a senior stakeholder whiteboard session as you are deep in the platform building the solution.
- Strong background in PSDS/CSM, complex integrations, and government or highly regulated environments.
- Relevant credentials (CSA, CAD, CIS, or Architecture certifications) are highly regarded.
