Wholesome Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Part-time role. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalised nursing care to our participants within the community. You will be part of a team dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our participants, ensuring they feel heard, cared for, and valued.
Key responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and developing individualised care plans for participants
- Administering medication, dressing changes, and other nursing interventions as required
- Monitoring participant's health status and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Promoting participant independence and wellbeing through education and support
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, and coordinated care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed participant documentation in accordance with professional standards
About you
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Experience working in a community or primary care setting is advantageous
- Solid clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
- Experience in catheter changes is preferred, but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and their families
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proficient in using technology, including electronic health records
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of our participants
- Demonstrated flexibility in working hours, with the ability to adapt schedule to meet business needs when required
