About Us

Supporting People. Strengthening Performance.

Ready to shape what’s next? At NRI, we turn technology into intelligence, delivering solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Join our team of 3,500 local experts backed by a global network of 16,000 team members and work on projects that truly make a difference for Australia’s leading organisations.

About the Opportunity The Compensation & Benefits Partner is responsible for leading the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of NRI’s remuneration and reward framework. This role is critical in ensuring NRI's total reward approach remains market competitive, commercially sustainable, equitable, and aligned to business strategy.

Partnering closely with senior leaders, Finance, and the broader People & Culture team, the role provides expert advice and insights across remuneration strategy, salary benchmarking, incentive design, job architecture, career frameworks, reward and recognition programs, and pay governance. The role is accountable for ensuring reward practices support attraction, retention, capability growth, and performance while maintaining solid governance, internal equity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you’ll own

- Remuneration strategy and total rewards design
- Base pay structures, salary frameworks and the annual review process
- STI framework and sales commission plans (design, governance, effectiveness and reporting)
- Job architecture, grading and career frameworks
- Benefits, recognition programs and contributions to the employee value proposition
- Pay governance, policies, controls and executive/Board reporting
- Gender pay gap analysis and pay equity reviews

- Market benchmarking (Aon Radford experience highly valued) and workforce insights/dashboards

You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, Finance and the broader People & Performance team. This is a genuine ownership role with real influence, not a pure administrative position.

What you’ll need

Significant experience in remuneration, compensation & benefits or total rewards, ideally in professional services, consulting, technology or a similar corporate environment. You’ll need proven ability to design and implement reward strategies, run incentive plans, manage job architecture, conduct equity analysis, and turn benchmarking data into clear recommendations.

Strong stakeholder management and commercial judgement are essential. Advanced Excel and analytics capability required; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus. You’ll act as the organisation’s subject matter expert on reward and champion fairness, transparency and practical decision-making.

Take the next step with us. Apply now and make a real impact.

Your skills. Our impact. Together unstoppable. At NRI, you’ll work on meaningful projects, tackle complex challenges, and see the tangible difference your expertise makes. We value diverse experiences and perspectives, creating an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace. Don’t worry if you don’t meet every requirement listed - we prioritise attitude and capability, and you might be the perfect fit for this role or another within NRI.

NRI Australia & New Zealand is committed to building a culturally diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourages applications regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or disability.
