The role

You'll be our person on the ground with a camera. Film lesson days at schools, capture the energy of classes and tournaments, then turn that footage into short form content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. You'll work directly with the founder, your ideas go live within days, and you'll watch the numbers they pull. This is real published work with real creative input, not coffee runs and mood boards.

What you'll do

Film at school lesson days, weekend classes and tournaments. Edit and package footage into short form content. Keep the content calendar running so posting stays consistent. Engage the community: comments, messages, follower growth. Track what performs and bring insights. Pitch campaign ideas for enrolment pushes, school launches and tournaments.

What we're looking for





You're in Sydney with a licence and your own car, since lesson locations are spread across Western Sydney. You can shoot on phone or camera, edit confidently, and show us work you've made. You have a feel for short form and what makes people stop scrolling.

You're reliable: lesson days run on a schedule and the content window is the lesson itself. You're comfortable working around kids in schools, and you'll hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check for paid work before your first school visit (quick to get, and we'll point you to it). Chess knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement.

Pay and setup

This is a paid position with the rate agreed based on experience. Days are flexible and built around our lesson schedule, typically weekday afternoons plus occasional weekends for classes and tournaments. Start immediately.
