Company Description National Mobile Camps (NMC) is an Australian owned and operated company based in Queensland, founded in 2009, and specializing in remote trailer-mounted mobile camp accommodation. The company operates one of the largest mobile camp fleets in Australia, offering scalable solutions from small 5-person mini camps to large 300-person mobile camps and partnerships that extend capacity to over 1,000 beds. NMC services a wide range of sectors with wet and dry hire services, flexible 12-hour or 24-hour operations, and additional facilities such as mobile gyms, site offices, and smoko trailers.

To support remote projects, NMC also provides sewage treatment plants that produce class A effluent, helping clients reduce operational costs and minimize reliance on regular vac truck services. Role Description The Contracts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toowoomba, QLD, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end contract lifecycle for NMC’s mobile camp and associated services. Day-to-day tasks include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer and supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with operations, finance, and sales teams to clarify contractual obligations, pricing structures, service levels, and risk allocation.

The Contracts

Manager will monitor contract performance,



manage renewals and variations, maintain accurate contract records and templates, and resolve contractual issues or disputes in a timely manner. This position also contributes to process improvements, supports tender and bid responses, and provides guidance to stakeholders on contract terms and risk management.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in contract management, administration, or commercial management within construction, resources, logistics, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, with the ability to interpret and apply legal and commercial terms clearly.
- Knowledge of relevant contract law, compliance requirements, and risk management principles applicable to Australian businesses.
- Proficiency in using contract management systems, document management tools, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with operations, finance, and external partners.
- Experience with remote or project-based operations, hire agreements, or service-level contracts is highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work in office in Toowoomba, QLD, and occasionally travel to remote project locations if required.
