The Role

Jarden is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join our Real Estate team in Sydney. Since establishing our Australian presence six years ago, we have built a leading, differentiated Real Estate business across listed and private markets, advising on some of the most significant and complex transactions in Australia and New Zealand, and raising significant amounts of listed and private capital for our clients.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile real estate transactions while developing your career alongside industry-leading professionals, and building deep sector expertise across listed and private real estate markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Support execution of M&A; transactions, public and private capital raisings, and strategic advisory mandates within the Real Estate sector
- Prepare comprehensive financial analyses, valuation models, presentations and transaction documentation
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other qualified advisers
- Assist in the preparation of all forms of client presentations, ensuring high quality content
- Conduct in-depth independent research into real estate and capital markets, REITs,



real estate fund managers and developers, and related industries and companies to help inform strategic ideas and recommendations
- Develop relationships with clients through active involvement in transactions and advisory assignments
- Collaborate with senior bankers on due diligence for potential opportunities, including market analysis and risk assessment
- Stay informed on real estate sector trends, market developments, and regulatory changes

About You You are a competent, confident individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You will interact extensively with colleagues and clients, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You have strong attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage multiple work assignments, with frequent priority changes.

In addition, you have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Relevant corporate finance experience at an investment bank or boutique corporate advisory firm, ideally with exposure to real estate or related industries (including M&A;, capital raisings, strategic advisory, and/or investing)
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of valuation techniques specific to real estate and corporate finance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely




- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
