ReturnToWorkSA is responsible for providing work injury insurance and regulating the South Australian Return to Work scheme. They provide insurance that protects South Australian businesses and their workers in the event of a work injury. This insurance protection provides financial support to cover worker wages, reasonable medical treatment and return to work services to people who have been injured at work. Their services and those delivered by their claims agents are designed to provide early intervention support to workers and employers following a work injury to ensure the worker can recover and return to work as quickly as possible.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a Corporate Risk Advisor to join the Finance and Investments team. Reporting to the Manager Governance and Corporate Risk, you will play a key role in leading and strengthening ReturnToWorkSA's Enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework. You will help embed a positive risk culture and ensure the organisation is well positioned to identify, manage and respond to both strategic and operational risks.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will facilitate risk assessments and workshops,
support the maintenance of enterprise and operational risk registers and monitor emerging risks, while delivering insightful reporting for senior leadership and the Audit and Risk Committee. You will also provide trusted advice and practical solutions that support sound governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience in risk management, ideally within a regulated environment. You will have strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence outcomes, build trusted relationships and drive positive change.
Tertiary qualifications in risk, governance, law or a relevant discipline are essential, with knowledge of contemporary risk management practices and ISO 31000 will be highly regarded.
