The Role

We are seeking a full-time Court Monitor to work in our Darwin office to create high-quality recordings and annotations of court proceedings. Previous experience is not required as our team provides comprehensive training and support.

Monitors record proceedings and produce annotations or logs of those proceedings to aid in the process of accurate transcription. Proceedings may take place on site in courtrooms, at client premises, or may be recorded from the office.

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Produce high quality audio recordings of hearings
- Input and manage integrity of data in various databases
- Produce accurate and detailed annotations of hearings to aid transcription
- Liaise with court staff and key stakeholders

About You You learn new technology quickly, enjoy expanding your skills, and are open to exploring the legal industry or trying something new. You may come from an administrative, legal, technical, technological, sound production, or an audio recording background and are ready to build on your experience.

What we're looking for

- Candidates who are willing to work from our Darwin office,



as well as travel to regional locations for recording proceedings when needed.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and set up heavy equipment when required (up to 30KG).
- Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday – Friday, with willingness to work outside of standard business hours when needed.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Must be willing to undertake a security clearance.
- Current driver’s licence and vehicle desirable.
- Administration, legal, technical, technological, sound production, or data-entry experience/background desirable.
