HIRING UTE DRIVERS WITH OWN VEHICLE, NORTHERN SUBURBS PREFERRED

We are looking for an owner driver (ABN/ACN) with your own ute to complete deliveries for our customers in Melbourne. Training and support provided to prepare a vehicle and driver for the transport of lengths of building materials using roof racks.

Pay per week

$30 to $40 per hour, depending on vehicle and experience.

30-50 hour weeks expected.

What you need

-A reliable and well maintained ute with 1 tonne capacity, 2.4m tray length, and front and rear racking, suitable for transporting lengths up to 7 metres

*Toyota Hilux

*Mazda BT-50

*Isuzu DMAX

Primary workload consists of transport of small amounts of lengths, usually 6.5 metres long. Large daily workload from northern suburbs (Epping, Campbellfield etc.)

Assistance available to cover cost of installing roof racks for the right vehicle and driver

-Valid drivers license

-Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

-Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident)

-A smart phone

-ABN or ACN setup

-Prior experience completing courier deliveries

-All relevant insurances

- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
- Public Liability Insurance

-Ability to load and unload goods by hand or with trolleys -Straps, tarps, hand trolley In accordance with the Owner Drivers and Forestry Act 2005,
