Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Customer Service Officer.

Contract: 3 months + | Immediate Start

Hourly Pay Rate: $40 + p/h + Super

Responsibilities

- Provide professional and responsive customer service to residents, ratepayers and members of the public via phone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
- Respond to and resolve customer enquiries, complaints and service requests, ensuring matters are followed up within required timeframes.
- Process and maintain accurate customer records, requests and correspondence across council systems and databases.
- Liaise with internal council teams, contractors and external stakeholders to coordinate services and resolve customer issues.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding council services, policies, procedures and processes while maintaining a high level of customer care.

Essential





- 2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive setting
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
