Role Overview

Based in Ormeau, Taylex is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to bring their administration and customer service skills to a dynamic, forward-thinking business. The Customer Service Officer plays a key role in supporting our service and operations teams, ensuring customers and stakeholders receive an outstanding experience from start to finish.

Unlike a traditional call centre environment, this is a hands-on, diverse role where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in administration, scheduling, contract management, stakeholder support and the coordination of service activities across the business, working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your days will include:

- Coordinating service technician schedules and appointments
- Managing customer and technical support communications




- Overseeing end-to-end contract administration and finance-related tasks
- Performing bank reconciliations and payment tracking
- Updating and maintaining internal databases and schedules
- Liaising with builders, councils, service technicians, and internal teams
- Driving service excellence with your proactive follow-up and attention to detail

What You’ll Bring

- Certificate III in Business Administration (or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in a customer service or coordination role
- Previous experience in manufacturing or wastewater management (desirable)
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and computer literacy
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
- A team-first mindset with a natural ability to build rapport
