About the role

This is a varied role where you will be dealing directly with customers, assisting with orders and supporting our sales and operations teams. You will be working in a busy team workplace based in Campbellfield, dealing directly with electrical contractors, wholesalers and trade customers.

Key responsibilities

- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers with their enquiries

- Entering and processing customer orders accurately

- Providing friendly and professional customer service

- Dealing directly with electrical contractors, wholesalers and trade customers

- Following up orders and assisting customers with delivery requirements

- Maintaining and updating draw down spreadsheets

- Liaising with our warehouse, sales and production teams to ensure orders are processed smoothly

- General administration and data entry

- Assisting the sales team with day-to-day customer requirements

About you

- Has previous experience in customer service, administration or sales support





- Is confident speaking with customers over the phone

- Has excellent attention to detail and can accurately enter orders

- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks

- Has good communication skills and a positive attitude

- Is comfortable working with spreadsheets and computer systems

- Has a good understanding of Microsoft Excel – knowledge of formulas, sorting and filtering would be highly regarded

- Can work independently while also being a strong team player

- Experience dealing with electrical contractors, wholesalers or within the electrical industry would be an advantage, but is not essential
