The Role:

The position requires a licensed Customs Broker and covers a wide range of services and legislative requirements for both Internal and External Customers in our Small Package Division.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lodgment of Import Declarations
- Detailed Classification determinations and Valuation Methodology
- Lodge Australian Agriculture entries
- Ensuring all import clearances and releases are processed according to Australian Legislation.
- Providing technical advice to both internal and external customers.
- Auditing cleared consignments for compliance.
- Assisting with projects to continually improve Border Clearance functions, enabling the Department to stay at the forefront of the industry

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- A current Customs Brokers License with at least 2 years' experience
- DAFF accreditation
- Expedient Knowledge (Preferred)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate
- Possess Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Confident of working within a agile and successful team
