Senior Finance Analyst – Board Reporting

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to lead the preparation of accurate, timely and insightful Board and Executive reporting packs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the preparation of high-quality Board and Executive financial reporting packs, including financial results, KPIs, budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure all numbers, analysis, charts and commentary are accurate, reconciled and fully supported.
- Analyse financial performance, variances, trends, risks and key business drivers.
- Prepare transparent and concise commentary that explains the story behind the numbers.
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to validate information, challenge assumptions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain strong financial controls, reporting processes and data integrity.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting, automation and efficiency.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activities.

Key Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline.




- Proven experience in financial analysis, management accounting, FP&A; or financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience preparing management, Executive or Board reporting.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; Power BI/finance systems experience desirable.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a very high standard of accuracy.
- Proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge discrepancies and provide insightful recommendations.
