ConsultANZ is seeking a General Project Superintendent for a leading civil contractor in New Zealand. This senior role will oversee a major marine infrastructure project in Wellington, managing full site delivery across marine and landside works.

Main Duties:

- Lead and run the site delivery of a multi-million dollar marine civil infrastructure project in Wellington, driving construction activities, safety, quality, and programme performance.
- Oversee works including wharf construction, carparks, utilities, and concrete structures.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
- Drive programme, budget, and resource planning to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and site teams to resolve technical and delivery issues.
- Manage client relationships and provide regular progress updates.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of civil construction experience,



ideally with marine or heavy infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Good understanding of marine works, concrete structures, and utilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong focus on safety, planning, and delivery.
