CHRISTIAN EARLY LEARNING

Bray Park

Lead with purpose. Build people. Shape thriving Christian education and care communities.

Genesis Christian College is seeking an experienced, relational and faith-filled Director / Nominated Supervisor to provide leadership across Little Genesis Early Learning Centre and Genesis Christian College OSHC.

This is a significant leadership opportunity for someone who loves developing people, strengthening culture and leading high-quality Christian education and care.

Importantly, this is an off-the-floor Director position, supported by an Assistant Director who is also off the floor.

You'll have dedicated time to lead your teams, mentor educators, drive continuous improvement and provide strong operational and compliance oversight across both services.

Little Genesis and Genesis Christian College OSHC operate under separate service approvals, while sharing the mission, values and wider community of Genesis Christian College.

Our heart is to nurture a love of Christ, a love of learning and a love of life, creating environments where children are known, valued and encouraged to flourish.

About the Role

We're looking for more than someone who can manage the day-to-day. We're looking for a leader who can lead leaders, build capability and create a strong, Christ-centred professional culture. You'll be trusted with genuine day-to-day operational autonomy, supported by and accountable to the Head of School – Primary.

As Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will:

- Provide visionary, people-centred leadership across Early Learning and OSHC.
- Champion a explicit, Christ-centred vision aligned with the mission of Genesis Christian College.
- Lead, mentor and develop educators and emerging leaders.
- Build a positive team culture grounded in trust, accountability and professional growth.
- Work closely with the off-the-floor Assistant Director to create a strong and sustainable leadership structure.
- Provide oversight of operations, compliance, risk, budgets and continuous improvement across both service approvals.
- Champion quality improvement across the National Quality Standard.
- Support high-quality practice aligned with the EYLF v2.0, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and My Time, Our Place v2.0.
- Build trusted partnerships with children, families, College leadership and the wider community.
- Lead teams through change with clarity, courage and compassion.

About You

You're a strong relational leader who understands that exceptional services are built by investing in people. You can encourage and empower others while also establishing clear expectations and accountability. Your Christian faith authentically shapes the way you lead, make decisions, build relationships and inspire others.

You may already be an experienced Director or Nominated Supervisor looking for an opportunity to broaden your leadership influence.

Or you may be an accomplished Assistant Director or 2IC who is ready to take the next significant step in your leadership journey.

You will bring:

- A genuine Christian faith and commitment to the mission and ethos of Genesis Christian College.
- Relevant approved Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications.
- Strong leadership experience within Early Childhood, OSHC or a related education setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, National Law and National Regulations.
- Knowledge of the EYLF v2.0 and QKLG, with knowledge of or the ability to confidently develop understanding of MTOP v2.0.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop teams.
- Experience leading and supporting a large team.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and decision-making skills.
- Confidence overseeing compliance, operations and continuous improvement.
- The ability to lead with both compassion and accountability.
- A commitment to providing authentic Christian spiritual leadership.

Why Genesis?

This is a senior leadership role with genuine autonomy—but you won't be leading alone.

You'll benefit from

- A genuinely off-the-floor Director position.
- An Assistant Director who is also off the floor.
- Established teams across Early Learning and OSHC.
- Direct support and connection with the Head of School – Primary.
- Access to the broader infrastructure of Genesis Christian College, including People & Culture and facilities support.
- A thriving Christian community where faith is central to who we are.
- Modern, well-resourced facilities.
- $110,000 - $130,000 + 12% Super, dependent on experience.
- Generous leave arrangements and staff discounts.

- Access to an Employee Assistance Program.
- The opportunity to have meaningful influence across children's journey from Early Learning through to school-age care and the wider College community.

Ready for a leadership role where you have the time to lead?

If you're looking for an opportunity to combine faith, people leadership and professional excellence, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone who can bring both heart and leadership—valuing the strengths already within our services while having the vision and courage to develop people, strengthen culture and lead Little Genesis and Genesis Christian College OSHC into their next chapter.

- Ensuring leaders and staff uphold our Child Safe policies, Codes of Conduct, professional boundaries and reporting obligations.
- Meeting mandatory child protection and national child safety training requirements.
- Promoting a culture where child safety is everyone's responsibility.

Appointment to this position will be subject to Genesis Christian College's child-safe recruitment and screening processes and all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
